TRAINING NEWS

As you know, we are not able to deliver training face to face at the moment – being mindful of the Government’s guidelines. But that doesn’t mean we are not thinking about what we can offer to you as soon as we get through this bad time. We really hope we will be able to meet you all during our training week in September (first week of term), and we will be looking to share

  • Ideas to kickstart your guiding whatever the ongoing restrictions are
  • Opportunities to share innovative practice that we can build on
  • Sessions for Leaders in Training to ‘catch up’

And of course we will restart the mandatory sessions as soon – 1st Response and Safe Space – as soon as we can.

We are also looking to re-schedule our innovative County Training Day.

So watch this space for news…..

In the meantime, don’t forget there are e-learnings available to be getting on with – a really good way to use time during our lock down. There are the Safe Space e-learnings, GDPR, programme – the full range of e-learning is available at

https://www.girlguiding.org.uk/making-guiding-happen/resources/resource-library/e-learning/

And, of course, you can help your girls with Adventures At Home – on the main Girlguiding website.

See you soon
